Blister foil
Blister foil is also called PTP aluminum foil.Blister foil is also called PTP aluminum foil, abbreviated as PTP (Press Through Packaging). The aluminum foil used in blister packaging is a sealing material sealed on the hard sheet of pharmaceutical plastic polyvinyl chloride (PVC), so it is also called cover material.
Almost all products in modern packaging that require opaque or high-barrier composite materials use aluminum foil as a barrier layer. This is because aluminum foil has a highly dense metal crystal structure that can block gas, so it is widely used.

Common structure of blister foil glossy foil (no printing):
There are two common structures: Primer/AL/HSL, OP/AL/VC.
Primer: Pre-printed protective agent to prevent oxidation of the aluminum foil surface and affect the printing effect, while improving the adhesion of the later ink. Customers generally need to apply varnish after printing.
OP: It is an acrylic resin series. This varnish can protect the printing ink from falling off/scratching, prevent the outer ink from contacting the inner adhesive, contaminating the medicine, and prevent the aluminum foil surface from oxidation and deterioration, thus improving the product grade.
HSL/VC: Vinyl resin.
Common structures of PTP aluminum foil with printing
Some customers will ask us to provide printing services and print company information such as logos on the surface of the aluminum foil.
Therefore, PTP aluminum foil with printing usually has the following 4 forms:

Strip aluminum foil
Alias: Alu Strip Pack Foil, AL/PE laminated strip pack, easy-to-tear film.
Structure:
1) PET/AL (O state)/PE (PP) three-layer soft aluminum In the case of surface printing, PET is often treated with single-sided corona to make the surface of the substrate have higher adhesion. PE can choose whether to do antistatic treatment, especially when the packaging is powder or granular, it is necessary to consider the sealing quality.
2) AL (O state) / PE (PS, PET, PP) two-layer soft aluminum Whether it is easy to tear depends on the tearability of other materials besides aluminum foil, which can be divided into ordinary difficult to tear, one-way easy to tear, and two-way easy to tear. Performance reference.

Cold forming aluminum
Alias: alu-alu/cold forming.
Structure:
aluminum-plastic composite three-layer:
1)Outer plastic film NY/OPA (auxiliary extension);
2)Middle deep stretch soft aluminum (barrier);
3)Inner plastic film PVC/PP/PE/Sarlin (heat sealing layer).

PVC
Raw materials: PVC hard sheet, PVDC emulsion or resin, PE film and adhesive.
Structure:
1) PVC;
2) PVC/PE composite sheet: dry composite method, apply polyurethane adhesive on PVC hard sheet and composite with PE film;
3) PVC/PVDC composite sheet: PVC hard sheet is first coated with adhesive, hot air evaporates the solvent, and then PVDC is coated;
4) PVC/PE/PVDC composite sheet: a combination of the above two processes.
