5754 Alloy Aluminum Sheet Plate

5754 aluminum sheet has the characteristics of medium strength, good corrosion resistance, weldability and easy processing and forming, and is a typical alloy in the Al-Mg system. Application range

5754 aluminum sheet is widely used in welded structures, storage tanks, pressure vessels, ship structures and offshore facilities, transportation tanks and for applications requiring excellent machinability, excellent corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength, high weldability and medium static strength.

Aluminum plate surface

1、The surface is not allowed to have cracks, corrosion spots and traces of nitrate salt.

2、The surface is allowed to have skin, bubble, surface roughness and local mechanical damage with the depth not exceeding 8% of the nominal size of the wall thickness where the defect is located, but the maximum depth of the defect cannot exceed 0.5mm and the total area of the defect does not exceed 5% of the total area of the plate.

3、The supplier is allowed to beat the surface smoothly along the longitudinal direction of the profile.

Heat treatment process

1 Homogenization annealing: heating 440℃; holding 12~14h; air cooling.

2 fast annealing: heating 350 ~ 410 ℃; holding time 30 ~ 120min; air or water cooling.

3 high-temperature annealing: heating 350 ~ 420 ℃; finished thickness ≥ 6mm or less than 6mm, holding time of 2 ~ 10min or 10 ~ 30min; air-cooled.

4 low-temperature annealing: heating 250 ~ 300 ℃ or 150 ~ 180 ℃; holding time of 1 ~ 2h, air-cooled.
