Types of coated aluminum foil by surface treatment

According to the surface treatment, Huawei Aluminum provides the two types of coated aluminum foil: bare and Embossed.

How thick is the coating generally?

Whether it is aluminum bare foil or embossed aluminum foil, customers can request whether the surface is coated or not, the normal coating is 1.5g~3.5/㎡, and some customers request 2mic, 4mic. The following four are common customer-required layer specifications:

• Outer anti-oxidant/corrosion coating (2.5g/m2), inner pink PIR foam adhesive (1.5g/m2)
• Surface: One side of foil coated with blue heat activated adhesive 3.5 gm/m2 or more, other side coated with matt anti oxidation & anti-bacterial layer (Need third party certificate for anti-bacterial) , 1.5 gm/m2.
• (Outside/Inside): Antibacterial (green) / Adhesive (pink), Anti Oxidant (Matt) / Adhesive (pink)
• Transparent Anti-corrosion Coating outside, Blue glue epoxy coating inside (1.7mic) -main function is to bond with Phenolic Foam Board stronger
