What is 1050 aluminum sheet
1050 aluminum sheet is a popular pure aluminum sheet, according to international standards, the aluminum content is above 99.50%.
In the 1050 aluminum sheet, in addition to the component Al, 0.4% Fe is also added, so the 1050 aluminum alloy also has high conductivity. In general, the performance of 1050 aluminum sheet shows high plasticity, strong corrosion resistance and excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, but the strength of 1050 aluminum alloy is low.
Why is it called '1050'
1050 series last two Arabic numerals are 50, according to the international grade naming principle, the aluminum content must reach 99.5% or more to be qualified products. China's aluminum alloy technical standard (GB/T3880-2006) also clearly stipulates that the aluminum content of 1050 reaches 99.5%.

The advantages of 1050 aluminum plate
Since it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively single, the price is relatively cheap, and it is one of the most commonly used series in the conventional industry.
It offers the best corrected resistance compared to any alloy group.
1050 aluminum alloy is formed by adding a small amount of copper to pure aluminum. It has excellent forming and processing characteristics, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and electrical conductivity.
The use of 1050 aluminum plate
1. Widely used in some occasions that require high corrosion resistance and formability but low strength, such as sheet metal processing parts, deep drawing or spinning concave vessels, welding parts, heat exchangers, etc.
2. It can be used to make daily necessities, lighting fixtures, reflectors, decorations, signs, electronics, lamps, electrical appliances, etc.
3. Chemical equipment is its typical use.

1050 H14 Aluminum Sheet VS. Aluminium 1050 H24
1050 aluminium alloy, H represents work hardening state, HXX State Description: the first digit 1 represents a simple work hardening state, which is suitable for reaching the required strength only after work hardening without attached heating treatment. The second digit represents the hardened state, the number 0 represents annealing, i.e. soft state, 8 represents hard state, 9 represents superhard state, and the numbers 1 to 7 represent the state between 0 (annealing) and 8 (hard state).
The corresponding H14 represents that the tensile strength of the material reaches the middle value of 0 (annealing) and 8 (hard state), i.e. the mean value, only by work hardening without heat treatment.
