Features

5052 aluminum sheet roll is light in weight, nonmagnetic and non-heat treatable. 

It has good work-ability and high fatigue strength with good resistance to corrosion even in salt water. 

Besides, it can be anodized to improve correction resistance of the material in corrosive environment. 

So 5052 aluminum sheet is high suitable for marine applications.

Application

Typical uses include general sheet metal work, fuel tanks, trucks and trailers, bodies of boats, heat exchangers, hinges,electronic mounting plates and panels, fan blades, refrigeration liners, storm shutters and utensils. 

1.well-suited to ship building and marine applications, such as marine components, fuel tanks and oil lines,due to 5052's excellent resistance to corrosion; 

2.Smaller, thinner components, such as those used in consumer electronics. Also for consumer electronics casings, as well as for larger products, such as laptop computers, mobile devices and televisions due to 5052's light weight, high strength and attractive finishing capabilities; 

3.Other common applications for aluminum alloy 5052: fuel and oil lines, hydraulic tubes, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, appliances like home freezers, kitchen cabinets, fencing, lighting, wiring and rivets, regularly used in general sheet metal work.
